PVoC Product Search for China Imports
Search the Phase 1 PVoC product categories for goods imported from China to South Africa. This tool helps importers identify products that may require pre-shipment verification and a Certificate of Conformity before cargo moves.
What to check
Confirm the product description, HS code, country of origin, supplier readiness, applicable SANS standard and whether a Certificate of Conformity can be issued before shipment.
Why it matters
If the product is in scope and the supplier is not ready, the shipment may face delays, holds, refusal of entry, extra storage costs or re-export risk.
Supplier question
Ask your supplier whether they have completed PVoC certification before, which inspection body they use and how long testing and inspection will take.
